Thursday, January 19 at 8 am is the first public meeting of the New Mexico Spaceport Authority. Speakers include NMEDD Secretary Rick Homans, Virgin Galactic President Will Whitehorn, Chairman of the X-Prize Foundation Peter Diamandis, and founder of the Rocket Racing League Granger Whitelaw. The meeting will center of the future of New Mexico and space commercialization. The agenda welcomes public comment, and future meeting dates will be discussed.
